     Sir Robert Rich, 2nd Bt. was the son of Colonel Nathaniel Rich and Elizabeth Hampden.1 He married Mary Rich, daughter of Sir Charles Rich, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Cholmeley, on 17 February 1675/76.1,2 He died on 1 October 1699.1
     He was appointed Knight on 14 February 1675/76 at Whitehall, London, England.2 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Rich, of London [E., 1676] circa 27 May 1677.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich between 1689 and 1699.1 He held the office of Lord of the Admiralty from 1691 to 1699.1 He lived at Roos Hall, Suffolk, England.2

     Mary Rich was the daughter of Sir Charles Rich, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Cholmeley.1,2 She married Sir Robert Rich, 2nd Bt., son of Colonel Nathaniel Rich and Elizabeth Hampden, on 17 February 1675/76.1,2 She died circa 20 December 1714.2 She was buried on 23 December 1714.2

     Sir Charles Rich, 1st Bt. was born in 1619.2 He was the son of Sir Edwyn Rich and Honora Woiryche.1,2 He married Elizabeth Cholmeley, daughter of John Cholmeley, on 28 November 1641.2 He died circa 27 May 1677.1
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Rich, of London [England] on 24 January 1675/76, with a special remainder to his son-in-law, Robert Rich.2 He received a blessing on 30 May 1677.2

     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1596 at Cadiz, Spain.2 He lived at Bracon Ash, Norfolk, England.2 He lived at Mulbarton, Norfolk, England.2
