     Lt.-Col. Charles Edwin Frederick Rich was born on 5 July 1871.2 He was the son of Reverend John Rich and Clara Sophia Bosworth.2 He married Violet Cecile Annie St. John, daughter of Admiral Henry Craven St. John and Catherine Dora Rodney, on 31 August 1899.1 He died on 23 February 1944 at age 72.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the Boer War in 1902.2 He was with HM Prison Service between 1905 and 1909.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Lincolnshire Regiment.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, in France, and was where he was mentioned in dispatches five times.2 He was Provost Marshal of 12th Army Corps and Allied Forces, Constantinople in 1916.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.2 He was Governor between 1920 and 1923 at HM Borstal Institution, Kent, England.2 He was Governor between 1929 and 1931 at Wandsworth Prison, Wandsworeth, London, England.2

Reverend John Rich

     Reverend John Rich was born on 24 May 1826.1 He was the son of Reverend John Rich and Georgiana Gordon.1 He married Clara Sophia Bosworth, daughter of Thomas Holmes Bosworth and Sophia de Berchem, on 29 June 1861.1 He died on 18 March 1913 at age 86.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Rural Dean of Malmesbury between 1861 and 1905.1 He was Rector between 1884 and 1913 at Kellaways, Wiltshire, England.1

Clara Sophia Bosworth1

     Clara Sophia Bosworth was born in 1836.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Holmes Bosworth and Sophia de Berchem.1,2 She married Reverend John Rich, son of Reverend John Rich and Georgiana Gordon, on 29 June 1861.1 She died on 3 October 1911.1
     Her married name became Rich.

     Reverend John Rich was born on 27 September 1789. He was the son of Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Rich.1 He married Georgiana Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon, on 3 August 1825.2 He died on 24 June 1856 at age 66.
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was the Vicar at Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.

Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt.

     Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. was the son of Reverend John Rich and Mary Hopson.1 He married Mary Frances Rich, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Robert Rich, 5th Bt. and Mary Ludlow, on 4 January 1783 at St. John's Church, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He died on 12 September 1824.
     He was given the name of Charles Bostock at birth.2 In 1790 his name was legally changed to Charles Rich.2 He was created 1st Baronet Rich, of Rose Hall, co. Suffolk [Great Britain] on 11 June 1791.3

     Brig.-Gen. Arthur Unlacke Stockley was the son of Colonel George Watts Stockley.1 He married Eleanor Dora St. John, daughter of Admiral Henry Craven St. John and Catherine Dora Rodney, on 3 January 1899.1 He died on 16 October 1939.1
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Atillery.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1
