Joseph Hambro was born on 2 November 1780.1 He was the son of Calmer Joachim Hambro and Thobe Levi.2 He married Marianne von Halle, daughter of Wulf Lewin von Halle, on 14 January 1807.1 He died on 3 October 1848 at age 67.1
