     Thomas Dunlop Galbraith, 1st Baron Strathclyde was born on 20 March 1891.1 He was the son of William Brodie Galbraith and Anne Jack Dunlop.2 He married Ida Jane Galloway, daughter of Thomas Galloway, on 2 December 1915.3 He died in 1985.1
     He was educated at Glasgow Academy, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.3 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.3 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.3 He fought in the First World War, in H.M.S.      Ida Jane Galloway was the daughter of Thomas Galloway.2 She married Thomas Dunlop Galbraith, 1st Baron Strathclyde, son of William Brodie Galbraith and Anne Jack Dunlop, on 2 December 1915.2 She died in 1985.1
     From 2 December 1915, her married name became Galbraith.1 After her marriage, Ida Jane Galloway was styled as Baroness Strathclyde on 4 May 1955.

Sir Thomas Galloway Dunlop Galbraith was born on 10 March 1917.1 He was the son of Thomas Dunlop Galbraith, 1st Baron Strathclyde and Ida Jane Galloway.1 He married Simone Clotilde Fernande Marie Ghislaine du Roy de Blicquy, daughter of Jean du Roy de Blicquy, on 11 April 1956.1 He and Simone Clotilde Fernande Marie Ghislaine du Roy de Blicquy were divorced in 1974.1 He died on 2 January 1982 at age 64.1
