     Franklin Richardson Kendall was born on 2 December 1839.2 He was the son of Edward Nicholas Kendall and Mary Anne Kay.2 He married Frances Margaret Fletcher, daughter of Reverend W. K. Fletcher, on 30 April 1867.2 He died on 23 December 1907 at age 68.2 He was buried on 27 December 1907.1
     He was with the P & O Steamship Navigation Company.2 He wrote the book Dearest Mother (ASIN: 1850442207.)
