John Schomberg Trefusis and Eva Louisa Bontein, on 10 October 1907.¹ He died on 26 April 1915 at age 32 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 22 June 1915.¹
